I want to learn particle and nuclear physics. Please give some suuggestions. What type of books should I read for begineer
Depends on what level you are at now.
I think first of all read a good modern physics, A. Beiser for example, then gradually branch out.
Make sure first you undstand everything at that level.
From more general to more specific
Atom, nucleous, protons and neutrons, strong force, quark model
Then specific topics, particle clasification, fermions and bosons, weak interaction, electron, muon and tau, isotopes,
QCD, fission, fusion, quantum theory etc. It is quite vast. Then you have all the short lived strongly interacting particles.
The standard model serves as a general clasification that is good to know.
Dear\ Pavan Krishna
pls read this book from springer :-
Particle and Nuclear Physics at J-PARC

good luck
You can start from the basics of the fields first.
Modern physics by Arthur Beiser is very good for the basic understanding of the field.
Nuclear physics by Roy and Nigam is also good at basics.
Introduction to Elementary Particle Physics by David Griffiths is the most recommended book for particle physics.
Quarks and Leptons by Halzen and Martin is equally good.
For Nuclear Physics, you can read books like:
Nuclear Physics by Irving Kaplan
Nuclear physics by S Krane, etc.
I have carried out MFC experiments on three different volumes, 50, 500 and 1000 mL of wastewater. Results after MFC treatment shows that TDS and EC are more in larger volumes of water i.e. TDS and...
