I read in a note of a book about Tillich that he "was a human being of immense wisdom." But interesting: Wisdom didn't hinder Tillich sometimes to have a very narrow relation to the female sex, and such things which happened and are today discussed in the "me-to-debate" many women could have tell in his time about the famous man- so the theological rumor.

Yes, I agree. True worship from the heart reaches the household of God, not some form of adorstion that glorifies man.

Definitely I don't support this and I think it has been saying negatively ;Of course, the adoration with arts of god not from or for the man. When there is love, there is the existence of God and vice versa.

Yes, it is 100% true. Let it be any religion anything related to SELF either self adoration or self glorification is not at all accepted. Of course anything done for self never goes to GOD. Praising self also not advisable. That is why it is said SERVICE TO FELLOW MEN IS SERVICE TO GOD.
The same is said in Hindu religion "Paropakaraya Punyaya, Papaya Para Peedanam". Helping others is virtue, hurting others is unbecoming. So as long as one does not hurt others, one is on the right path. It is the essence of 18 great epics 'Astadasa Puranas' of Hindu religion.
There is a lot of room for interpretation in this statement. Is it adoration of self? Is it adoration in the Blessed Sacrament? All the same, glorifying oneself is somewhat prideful, which God does not like.

If I agree, the religious self-worship performed by man for the same man, is generally counterproductive and selfish, since in this way he will not come to God.
I do agree with Tillich as well. Furthermore, I tend to very cynical about these things. You know, a little like St Paul, who suggested that those who feel compelled to "speak in tongues" do so inside a closet. Really.
I'd like to explore the point made by Hein Retter, though, concerning this "me too" phenomenon. But it's off topic.
I concur with the emerging consensus; namely that on this point I agree with Tillich.
