I have designed a 2 port band pass filter using SIW. I wish to plot group delay plot for same using HFSS..
in HFSS., I have found in proj manager
Resuls----->Create modal solution------>rectangular plot
there comes various options under "CATEGORY OPTION"
S parameter, Z parameter, VSWR........group delay etc.
Now in HFSS, there is one column for "QUANTITY".. it i showing 4 group delay options (1,2), (2,1),(1,1),(2,2).so which parameter i should choose to publish in paper?? Also what "FUNCTION" to select?? should it be
kindly guide..

You must select group delay with S(1,2) or S(2,1) since we need delay from port 1 to port 2 or vice versa.

This is a standard report in HFSS. in project manager window, right click results->create modal solution data report -> rectangle plot. category group delay primary sweep frequency. done
