Would have been logical to inform what error did you get.

However, most probable reason is perl is not in your path. Either export the path or move to perl bin and run the script with absolute path.

What error message are you getting?

Can you run the perl -v command?

Its simply the case that perl is not in your path. Go to perl homapage and follow the instructions. You probably need to reinstall with proper path variables (easiest option).

Further, please look at the output you get as error too. You keep on using 'ls' and 1) it is not a windows command so can't be used 2) if you are getting error instead of finding more about it, you keep on using it.

If you are not familiar with windows cmd, use any linux emulator or wsl2.

But, please see/check what error is telling you.

@abhijit , I am aware that 'ls' is not windows command. But the same 'ls 'command works fine in windows 7 os with perl command prompt FYI.

And it's showing issue that unrecognised command in windows 10.

Try this and post output

you need to indicate the location where perl is installed (bin directory), e.g. c:\perl\bin
