I am teaching a graduate level population biology course this fall that is 50% population ecology and 50% population genetics. In the past, I have recommended Gotelli's Primer of Ecology and Conner & Hartl's Primer of Ecological Genetics as reference texts. Both of these were excellent for readability and practical use, but neither has a recent edition. Can folks comment on their favorite texts that would be appropriate references? Thanks!
Dear Jennifer Geib , I have kept Conner and Harl's Primer as my personal copy. When I teach a course on population biology, I would definitely use Frankham's book as a reference.
