Reference sequence vs. reference taxonomy

I have a question regarding the two phrases: 1. reference sequence 2. reference taxonomy

What is the difference between them? What makes them different?

The terms are clear enough. Reference sequence is a sequence which is used as reference in comparative genomics. And Reference taxonomy is the taxonomy which might be of that particular sequence or the reference genome. I don't see any confusion in these terminology.
