Dear researchers,
I would like to ask for the recommendation for plasmid (kan or chloramphenicol resistance marker) which could constitutively express the E.coli protein (inner membrane protein) in the K12 strain of E.coli-BW25113.
In addition, I would also like to ask the experiences if there are people working with the following plasmids:
1. PSF-OXB15
2. pFAB3905
My purpose is to reintroduce an inner membrane protein to check if it shows a rescue effect under certain antibiotic treatment in the respective knock-out strain. It shows a significant influence of IPTG or arabinose on E.coli growth in the condition we applied, the constitutive expression vector is better for the use.
