Can you please elaborate on the test methodology (rapid test) you are going to apply ?
If you need to hemolyze the sample before analysis I would not call it a rapid test. Nowadays there are immunochomatographic tests that operate on whole blood. Or are you going to develop one?
To extract hemoglobin, add eight times the amount of water to RBCs and centrifuge. Take the supernatant containing hemoglobin.
