iam doing bio degradation of vegetables oil using bacteria, but the yellow color off oil has disappeared , and the media changed to milky color, moreover white big granules and clotting has been formed .

Is it not possible that the media became white once bacteria colony floating in the oily medium became particles large enough to scatter light?
