Can I find someone who has information about the " 2nd Global Summit on Earth Science and Climate Change "(Adv. ESCC 2023)" conference ? Is it a real international conference? Has anyone ever participated in the first edition?
Thanks for your interesting. I asked about that conference because I received an invitation as a speaker in it. And I would like to sure if it is a true conference.
Also invited and confused about this event. I found the previous event at https://advanced-earth-climate-change.peersalleyconferences.com/2022/september
I also received an invitation as a speaker in same conference. these people are continuously asking for payment and registration. please help in this regard.
Thanks for this communication! It shows the confusion, which I, too, have. I received an invitation as "Distinuished Speaker". However, I am in a similar position regarding missing knowledge about this conference.
I had the same invitation and the same questions. I just spoke to the son of one of the "Organizing Committee". He will ask his father and than inform me.
They offered me 40 % discount because they would appreciate if I would take part in that conference. According to my experience distinguished speakers get free accomodation, traveling and by chance a speaker's fee.
Because of that I consider that conference as an unserious one.
I also received an invitation and looked into the conference. Caltech has the conference organizer on their list of dubious conferences. I found the website for this year and last year and I noticed that the list of featured speakers were the sample people both years. The testimonials were also from the speakers. It may possibly be a real conference, but if it is, it seems to be predatory.
I have also received a mail inviting me as guest speaker for the conference. Even I'm doubtful about the genuiness looking at the fees charged for speakers
I have received an "official invitation to participate to the summit'. I couldn't confirm that this is serious. The announcement doesn't precise where in London the event will be held.
I also received the same invitation. $845 is HUGE!.....Also i looked at the pictures of conference participants.. The pictures look photoshopped instead of real conference venues....Also if the pics contain total number of participants the scale of the conference looks very small....
I also received the same invitation. I had submitted the abstract and now they are requesting for registration again and again. I am being confused whether it's a real conference or not.
Hi everybody! I was invited to this event. And, yesterday i was read some abstracts of the book , and i asked some authors "how was the last edition of 2022". And it is true! The event did happen. I hope I have helped shed light on those doubts about the legitimacy of the event.
I also got the same invitation as a distinguished speaker at the same conference today morning. I have published a research paper related to the conference title. The question is whether I should register for this conference or not. And if I do the registration, how much will I bear INR?
same here, I also got the same invitation as a distinguished speaker at the same conference today morning. I have published a research paper related to the conference title.
I have been invited as a speaker twice, and I have been addressed as "Dr." despite not having a doctorate. The first email arrived in May, mentioning one of our articles published in 2022. At that time, I attempted to find information about the conference organizer, but the search yielded no substantial results, so I didn't take it too seriously.
Today, I received the second email, and interestingly, the subject of this message is "Last Reminder." It references the title of our most recent article (2023) instead of the previous one, and I have been invited as a "Distinguished Speaker" to what is being called the most prestigious event 😊.
As someone who has published several articles, I typically receive a substantial number of emails from reputable and non-reputable publishers. Usually, I can easily identify non-reputable journals as spam, but I don't have much experience with conferences. I strongly recommend investigating the credibility of this conference! However, I do have a question: Is it common for a PhD student to be invited to prestigious conferences using their email as the first author? How can I discover valid conferences? Is there a method to receive automatic notifications for conferences related to my research field?
