Soundings are recorded at 00 and 12 Hrs worldwide. So, suppose we wish to compare two data, is it worthwilhile to compare gridded simulated sounding output "at 12 Hrs" with gridded observed rainfall/surface temperature "for entire day"?
Or is it correct to compare gridded simulated sounding output "for entire day" with gridded observed rainfall/surface temperature "for entire day"?
Hope I am clear with my question. Any help shall be appreciated.
