I used NDSI for month of december in ArcGIS for glacier mapping but I cant distinguish between glacier and snow. I want to do glacier mapping for a catchment to study the glacier retreat. So can any expert help me to do this? Can help with some tutorial or videos ?

Field Surveys: Ground-based surveys and field observations can provide valuable ground truth data for validating remote sensing analyses and mapping efforts. Field surveys can help confirm the presence of glaciers, identify their boundaries, and assess their characteristics. Combination of Techniques: Combining multiple techniques, such as satellite imagery analysis, spectral analysis, and field surveys, can improve the accuracy of glacier mapping and help distinguish between glaciers and seasonal snow cover more effectively.
