Hi, I am working on a microwave pyrolysis process of bamboo fibre using coconut shell-based activated carbon to obtain carbon fibres.

However, I am struggling to quantify the amount of activated carbon needed to pyrolyse the bamboo fibre.

According to Lam & al., a ratio of 2g of bamboo fibre for 15g of activated carbon can be used.

I am trying to scale it to 1kg of bamboo fibre but was wondering if the ratio would be linear ?

Therefore, I wanted to make a radiative transfer computation but I am struggling in doing so.

If anyone could help, I'd be greatful !
