We are currently trying to find out which climate and/or urbanization factors correlate with Leptospirosis in the Philippines. For this, we have gathered precipitation, land surface temperature, as well as NDVI, NDBI, and NDWI values from four urbanized cities, along with leptospirosis morbidity rates. What is the appropriate statistical method that can be used to compute for correlation in our case? Thank you in advance!

Good evening Jeremy Albert A. Gusi, for all of these; precipitation, land surface temperature, as well as NDVI, NDBI, and NDWI, are they all continuous? It is just sometimes categories are created for example temperature when it relates to fire hazard, they use categories of very high danger, high danger, moderate, low, very low etc. Are you using data as continous in that there are no categorisations possible? or thresholds for these variables? which would then make they categorical variables.
