I have been trying to passage ma-mel-66a cell line, however, I am having zero luck. I have used RPMI + 10%FBS and RPMI + 5%FBS, I even plated them (straight from LN2) in a small p10 to help them out. Nope, nodda, nothing. Can anyone recommend me a useful protocol or media formulation for this cell line?

One thing you can try is looking up the original publication where the cell line was first described. The authors may have provided information about the conditions under which the cell line was maintained, such as the type of medium, the presence of any specific supplements, and the optimal temperature and atmosphere for growth. This information can be a good starting point for developing a growth protocol for the ma-mel-66a cell line.
Another option would be to try different cell culture media formulation, for example DMEM, MEM,etc. and different percentage of FBS or other supplement like Bovine Pituitary Extract (BPE), or try to use other type of serum like horse serum.
You could also try culturing the cells at different temperatures or in a different atmosphere, such as under low oxygen conditions.
It may also be worth reaching out to other scientists who have successfully cultured the ma-mel-66a cell line and asking them for their protocol or troubleshoot together.

RPMI-1640 medium is very well suited for culturing of a wide range of mammalian suspension cell lines and primary lymphocytes, all leucocytes, B- and T-lymphocytes, as well as myeloma and hybridoma cells.
Ma-Mel-66a is a melanoma cancer cell line which is an adherent cell line. So why don’t you try using DMEM? DMEM is the most broadly suitable medium for many adherent cell phenotypes.
You could try DMEM supplemented with 10% FBS, 5 mM L-glutamine, 100 U/ml penicillin and 100 µg/ml streptomycin at 37°C in a humidified 5% CO2 atmosphere.

Mohammad Alzeyadi thank you for your input. I have done a fairly extensive literature search regarding ma-mel-66a media formulation, its origins, etc. I have even followed my labs manuscript. To no avail :(
Malcolm Nobre I was following my PIs manuscript that says RPMI 5% FBS, and he even mentioned it should work. So...I am torn. I will try your suggestion, however. Thanks!
