I have used Raji cells and these are suspension cells, I wish to know, Is "Raji A" (clone of Raji) a suspension or adherent cell line?
From some source, I read "Raji A" was developed from the adherent subpopulation of Raji cells.
Kindly suggest if "Raji A" is a suspension or Adherent cell line and the difference between Raji and Raji A cell line ?

Raji is suspension cell line (Growth is in the form of single cells without attachment). Raji A is adherent cell line. To overcome the problem with adherence, RAJI 'A' was developed from Raji cell line, which contains typical human chromosomes and the modal total chromosome number (47-48) is the same as that of RAJI. RAJI 'A' is also identical to RAJI with respect to isoenzyme composition, susceptibility to EBV infection and inducibility of latent EBV.

Hello , Saranya could you please explain me how to split or subculture these cells, I have Raji A, and it is mix population (adherent + suspension) and cells are in poor condition, How to troubleshoot for this ?
