Iam working on 3D fan zone in Ansys Fluent and created a cylindrical domain to assign 3D fan zone condition. While assigning fan zone in cell zone conditions, Fluent is showing the above error. I checked the surface in spaceclaim and its perfectly planar. Can someone explain how to rectify this error?
Fan laws available in Ansys Fluent user guide and literature are quite different. I read flow rate is proportional to RPM, where as in Fluent its given as flow rate is proportional to (RPM)^0.5. Similarly static pressure and RPM relation also is different. I attached pics of both. Can anyone confirm what to follow for simulating fan effects?
Can we have tet mesh for fan zone? If so how it calculates radial distance of each cell?.For the CAD Iam working, its not possible to create hex.
Initial flow rate: we have fan data sheet with Static pressure raise vs CFM. What value should be given here? Flowrate that of 0 pressure or highest pressure ? (pls refer fan BC cell zone picture)
