Problem Reported by End user : Although superwetting filtration membranes have been widely used, they suffer from the disadvantages of low flux and membrane fouling caused by the nanoscale pore size.

Solution Proposed : How to ensure the Quality of super-hydrophobicity or Non Wetting of Filter outer layer : Epoxy or Coating options could be :

· Option 1 : Laminated cellulose aerogel (using cellulose fibers ) layer to provide better flux and minimum fouling .

· Option 2 : An ultrathin silanization coating layer on cellulose fibers surface is constructed via directly coupling alkoxysilane and endows the composite with excellent superhydrophobicity (161°) and superoleophilicity (0°).

· Option 3 : TIPS Given by third party Experts from USA : The sheet would preferably render water-repellent by impregnation with 15 to 30% by weight of phenol-formaldehyde or epoxy resin and 0,5 to 3% silicone resin.( however new solution from Chinese Universities would be welcome )
