How to control the shape and orientation of MoS2/MoSe2 Growth in CVD?

During MoSe2 growth in CVD, which factor influences most of on shape of the crystal .. I see different shapes like stars, triangles, and polygonal. etc

Secondly, which parameter can influence to same orientation of the growth?
