Hi ,

Iam doing experiment for quantification of bacterial DNA in spleen tissues by qPCR. I want to ask if any one has experience with using the QIAGEN AllPrep DNA/RNA/Protein Mini kit (cat.no. 80004) to extract the DNA from the bacterial cells ?

I went through the manual and found that there are 2 protocols for cells and tissues but is cell protocol including bacterial cells as well ?

If there are any modifications or any one adopt a specific protocol for using that kit for bacterial DNA can you please help me with that ?
