The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) was launched in late 2015 as a new database within Clarivate Analytics’ (formerly Thomson Reuters’) Web of Science.  Around 3,000 journals were selected for coverage at launch, spanning the full range of subject areas. As of February 2017, the database contains 5,578 journals, approximately 530 of which are Taylor & Francis journals. This means around 20% of our journals are indexed in the ESCI.

" These journals are not predatory due to their strict peer-review process". This statement is wrong. In my experience ESCI journals strictly reviewing the papers and giving valuable comments. I don't think that any journal indexing in Scopus & ESCI blindly accepting papers without review.

Strict review doesn't mean it is good Zeeshan.

It is the content and work that is presented that is important .

Look at nature , they have editors who will edit your paper for a price ...

So what is the conclusion ...

Dear Zeeshan ,

As you said, you get the advantage that, your paper is published in a non-predatory journal. In future ESCI journals may upgraded to SCI-E or SCI journals. But in that case your paper is not considered as an SCI or SCI-E.
