We've been trying to obtain urinary LTE4 level by ELISA test ( Cayman Chemical (Ann Arbor, Michigan) )

First, we made mistake by storing sample at 4 °C , and the LTE4 level was mostly overflow (>2000 pg/ml). So, we gathered the samples again, stored the samples at -80 °C and performed ELISA test again. However, the results also came up too high and about half of the result was overflow. The lab says that the dilution protocol was correct and there was no problem in standard curve.

What may be the problem in these result?
