i am working on the nutrition value of food and read the paper (Article Author Correction: Levelling foods for priority micronutrien...

). In which the authors used the priority micronutrient value. I am very confused about the calculation of the required amount of a certain food to meet the average of one-third of recommended intakes of vitamin A, folate, vitamin B12, calcium, iron, and zinc. For example, the authors come to the conculsion that only 7 gramm of liver is needed to meed the the demand. I have the difficulties on calculating this results. Does someone familiar with the concept of priority micronutrient value and can give me some insights?
