At this time we are facing challenge to treat most of infectious disease with commonly available antibiotics/drugs. In the conventional bacteriological procedure usually it takes a minimum of 48-72 hrs to cultivate pathogens, identify, and to check for AST. This procedure is actually time consuming and costly plus it may not help patients under emergency conditions. So, do any one share experiences or investigations under way on any any kind of point of care AST screening technologies to date?

Thanks,
