  For instance, an experimental setup each with three reactors were as follows:  Setup 1=A(control), B(control + X), C (control + Y) where X and Y are different nutrients added to check their effect on the volume of gas produced in B and C given that A, B and C are same type of material (biomass feedstock).   The experiment was run for 80 days (i.e. 80 data points obtained in each case).   The effects of nutrients X and Y were further investigated using entirely different feedstock materials say setup 2= D(control), E (control +X), F(control +Y) and setup 3= G(control), H(control + X) and J(control +Y). How best can I compare the effects on X and Y on the gas production across the three different setups as the feedstock are entirely different using one statistical package.   Thanks. Uchenna Egwu
