Excellent question put by Dr. Gautam. After photolytic oxidation the nano-particles may end up in waste water sludge. Further escape of these nano-particles into the effluent will contaminate the aquatic and soil environment. More research is needed on the aspect as the information till today is negligible.
IF nano-particles may end up in waste water sludge , proper management of them is important.I think if enter the effluent of treatment can accumulated in plant tissue and inter the human food chain.
