You could also try to do both retrievals successively. (and maybe vary retrieval time)

I have done that for IHC and it worked fine.

You will have tot try for your epitopes.

The protocol I use suggests 22 min for antigen retrieval step. If I got your answer right, can I add both retrieval buffers (citrate ph6 and Tris-EDTA pH9)during this time? or seperately and split the time? or what?

I would do 11 min in each buffer.
