The physics based model which can correlate the mechanical properties (e.g YS, UTS, %EL, RA) with microstructure variables and chemical composition of Titanium alloy.
As mechanical properties depends upon grain structure of the product, it is important to predict grain size using semi-empirical equations of the production of the material like chemical composition, strain, strain rate, cooling rate etc. The material related coefficients of the semi-empirical equations needs to be calculated either from experimental data or to be found out from literature or to be inversely calculated from measured properties data using multivariable optimization algorithms.
