What are the more fundamental concepts in terms of which one can formally grasp the concept "problem"? Do all "problems" (mathematical, practical, existential, aesthetic, philosophical, psychological etc.) share a common essence?

Most importantly, is Time an essential variable for the emergence of a "problem"? Do we have "problems" only because we are time-bound i.e. mortal? Can you possibly conceive of a "problem" which would makes sense (maintain its problemness ) in an immortal world with immortal human beings?
