As far as I know, the distant metastasis occurs in the lungs, liver, diaphragm and adrenals and all of them die before 12 months in KrasLSL-G12D/+;Pdx1-Cre PDAC mouse model.
In addition, KrasLSL-G12D/+;Pdx1-Cre PDAC mice harbor precursor lesions, or pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) by 8 to 10 weeks of age.

According to the above articles, while most of the individuals die within the short period, some of them who survive longer than 20 weeks exhibit the distant metastasis to the lungs and liver and peritoneum dissemination by all means.
