I found two methods on SciGine where the authors used the PathScan sandwich Elisa kit. Take a look and if you think its possible, contact the authors.

I have performed this assay on LPS stimulated primary human monocytes and they work perfectly fine. The protocol is incredibly easy to follow. I haven't come across any articles yet that demonstrates this with tissue samples. But with cultured cells it's easy.

We performed the array with some types of cells (HepG2, macrophages, adipocytes) as well as adipose tissue. It was very easy and worked super. Unfortunately, the kit is not available anymore.
