Does anyone know of any Arabic or Greek sources that refer to the leper knights? I have western sources, both modern and medieval, but none from the enemies' perspectives.
thanks for the tip, you are right they are not easy to access, the little info I can get access to suggests that the material held is too late since by the time the Ottomans really get established the Lazarettes have lost most if not all their military function, thanks anyway
Timothy, you may find it helpful to post a separate question asking something like, is anyone doing research on the crusades from the Saracen perspective? Would be interested to hear from Islamic scholars, and if they have seen any references to the Leper knights?
