Can I sue Amazon because it has used one of my statements (quotations about working hard) or the website where I publish my quotations? Using people's intellectual properties to gain money is unethical and must have consequences, no? What do lawyers think of that?
Just imagine that one day a company like amazon would take one of your intellectual properties (any research item) and sell it to gain money...

In fact, I noticed that too, not with Amazon ... For me, a phrase was not taken from me, but rather questions, actually more than the subject of a question. It may be unethical or immoral, but not illegal. We will call it illegal when we are sure that it is violation of a particular law/act/treaty etc.
I will suggest to contact Amazon, they may have some remedy. If not successful, you can talk to your lawyer.

Good discussion, as to me the time may matter. The Amazon way works on it before you have that or you both may think simultaneously.
Thank you, I read it again. My comment here is, just consult Lawyers! My expectation was that Amazon has used your quotation as the title to articles/books/magazines staff like that.
If something is put on a website then it is deemed to be in public domain and using that somewhere else may be unethical but not illegal, unless you have specifically mentioned that it is copyright protected and would require your written permission to be used elsewhere.
