Is there an arbitrary classification for the total phenolic content (%w/w)? How high is high? how low is low? are there any standards in classifying?

I am currently having conduct a study regarding the total phenolic content of a plant extract; however, I cannot determine if a 42.7 mg/g gallic acid equivalent phenolic content is high or not.

Does freeze drying and storing plant tissues in -80 deg. C affect the total RNA yield in RNA extraction?

It is because I have very low RNA yield. I was thinking if it is because I use 1-week old freeze dried samples stored in the freezer at -80 degree celsius. Amybe it is better to use fresh samples...
