what percentage of Kupffer cells is present in a C57 mouse? I use as Kupffer specific cell markers Clec4f for IC-FACS, what percentage should I expect within leukocytes after eliminating hepatocytes?
It was said that approximately 35% of the number of hepatocytes are Kupffer cells in adult mice.

I have eliminated the hepatocytes with a specific kit to only get liver immune cells (leukocytes). Kupffer's cells that% of leukocytes should be?
To my understanding of that reference, "hepatocytes" mean all cells in the liver including parenchymal hepatocytes and non-parenchymal hepatocytes such as Kupffer cells.
ok sorry. With my kit I get only liver non-parenchymal cells because i study the immune system. My question is % of Kupffer cells inside non-parencymal cells of liver.
Approximately 1/3 of non-parenchymal liver cells analysed by FC are Kupffer cells.
