It is difficult to machine non conductive material because this process is based on Faraday's Laws (first and second laws) the relationship between current (total electric charge ) and mass of the substance liberated at an electrode in gms.

MRR is Directly Proportional to the Current applied (as per Faraday's Laws) and Feed rate as well.

However, with your case, you can always try electro-plating your workpiece and can do machining. But remember, you can get the contour profile only upto the thickness of the plating.

I'm also yet to do project with this method. Searching for similar journals.

Check for the ECDM process

may be if we submerged the non-conductive material in a highly conductive fluid can we?

The displacement current is not sufficient to ignite or even maintain a plasma channel between the electrodes.

If you want to process an electrically non-conductive material, then it's not electrochemically. Therefore, the claim that the hybrid EDCM or ECDM has less material removal is nonsense, because less than zero does not work. If you want to use a hybrid method, then you need to consider whether the assistive method, for example EDM, has any benefit. After all, EDM actually requires electrically good-conducting electrodes. This again means that you have to create such a condition in the working gap. If, for example, the spark discharge creates an electrically conductive layer on the workpiece (temporarily). A general solution can not be called there without further notice, it must be adapted to the application case, in an emergency also the process energy source.

You can use ultrasonic machining for non conductive materials .

For me it is difficult to believe that can be machined non-conductive material by ECM,EDM,ECDM.
