I need assistance to remove the oxide formed on the Ti6Al4V. During the cutting by wire EDM, oxide was formed on the surface of the alloy. Since the micron level features are present on the surface, polishing can not be used.

What do you want to analyse by which method?
If the sample is oxidized by the cutting:
- covering the surface by photoresist, wax, but how to remove it?
- make a large sample so that the centre is far away from the cuts?

I wanted to do a cell adhesion test on the sample.
Covering the sample could be a solution but at this much temperature it may react with the base material.
Sample size is also limited in the cell test.
Do RF sputter etching, and see that the oxide layers are skimmed off.
In what form is your Ti6Al4V material. Is it a wire, foil or a 1mm thick slab.
I have done a lot of Ti6Al4V rf sputtering using 4 inch dia, 3 mm thick targets. We could always skim off the top oxide layers very effectively to get uniform and pure TiAlV coatings on plastic petri dishes for some medical studies on tissue growth.
Surya Prakash Singh This can be possibly accomplished using the hydrofluoric (HF) acid-picking method;
Prepare HF: H2O (Water) solution with a ratio of 1-3: 10
Next, immerse the sample in the prepared solution for 10-30 minutes and then take it out and rinse it with distilled water.
Caution: HF is Toxic use gloves, goggles, and a mask.
