I'm running a multiphase heat transfer simulation of a closed thermosyphon heat pipe. The fluid volume is encapsulated by a copper pipe and condenser/evaporator on either end of the pipe. The evap and cond are both set to copper material.

When I'm in CFD post, I cannot look at ANY variables for the copper region, only the fluid volume. I specifically want to see the temperature distribution in the copper, but I can only see temperature of the two phases. It seems like this might be a problem with running a multiphase simulation. Things I've tried to do:

(1) Change export parameters in Fluent ==> YES, I've included temperature

(2) Change domain filter in contour dialog ==> does nothing to the available variables

I really don't understand, and I can't find anything online about this. I know the heat transfer is occurring in the solid, because liquid water is vaporizing and condensing as it should! Does anybody know what the problem is?
