We need to purchase a new inverted microscope for our tissue culture facility, and have narrowed down the choice to the Nikon TS100f or the Olympus CKX41. Does anyone have any preferences, or pros and cons for either model?
Nikon microscope are good and their performance is time tested. I had worked in three National Labs of India. All we had their is only Nikon. I donot have the experience of Olympus
In balance, I would say it comes down to what gives you the most bang for your buck. Both Nikon and Olympus are reputable microscope companies that sell high quality equipment. I suggest that you also take into account after-market support, which is also important post-acquisition and essentially comes down to the quality and knowledge of their customer service representatives.
