I am simulating temperature results in ansys fluent CFD software using diesel-air mixture. I have used non-premixed combustion model with chemkin mechanism. I am not able to get conversed solution and correct temperature contour. I am also getting reverse flow after 40 iterations that diverges flow. I am attaching necessary files regarding this. Please suggest solutions. Thanks
You can either extend the domain or change the outlet backflow conditions to be similar to the outlet values to avoid sudden change in solutions when backflow occurs.
Maybe you can disable Volumetric in the Reactions group box firstly, running a non-reacting solution to establish the flow. When the solution is converged, enable Volumetric for the reacting flow solution.
Mr. Tsai, extension of domain means increase in geometry length! I have used engine cylinder dimensions in 2-D. For outlet backflow conditions, first I used atmospheric pressure and tried. After that I also tried to put pressure negative and in the last I used flow rate at the place of pressure but didn't get succeed to get conversed solution.
