I am not in control of the current ftp server. I have published several article that cite the server as a depository of supplementary information. Now, my sysops want to shut it down. I have found a new server and put the folders and documents there (in the new ftp site). But, the sysops claim that there is no protocol to redirect ftp://... to the new ftp://... Is this true? Is there a protocol?
