My pollutant include dyes and drugs. GCMS sample should be devoid of water, i am not getting how to take it in methanol solvent after degradation product complete. I have taken the sample and mixed with equal amount of methanol and evaporated till half of the volume remains in the beaker. I am sounding very silly, sry for that i am beginner in research. If i heated all solution evaporated and i don't know how to do ? is it right to evaporate half of it and then send it to GCMS techniques?
Yogeshwari Vyas Depending on the type of compounds, use SLE or SPE for sample cleanup/extraction prior to GC-MS
