1.How do we design the bead shape in Abaqus for multi-pass welding?
2.Do we need to take the bead dimension from welded specimen?
3.Is it possible to draw the beads in the Abaqus part module or do we external modeling software and import the same?

1. You must couple of structural and thermal behaviors and input of necessary material properties. If you adopt dynamic fusion boundary technique, it allows every gauss point in the model to have material properties assigned based upon an Abaqus field variable dependence.
2. You must specify required width of weld zone.
3. It is better to draw the beads using modeling software and import the same with the necessary formats thereof.
