I was wondering if anyone had experience using this kit for DNA-protein complex gel extraction. If so, how did it work out? If not, then would you forsee any problems with my using it?
Also, I understand that the RPM speed is quite high (14-16K I forgot which) So, I was wondering since at our lab we only have a centrifuge that spins at a speed of 2K would I still be able to use this?

The Monarch Kits ar fairly new. At the moment there is even a promotion to get a free test kit. I ordered one for myself, so why don't just test it?
Usually it doesn't matter so much if you spin at 12'000 or 16'000 rmp (or rcf). But i guess 2000rmp is too low! probaly your elutions will still contain cantaminatns as ethanol and salts
So, did it work for you? My first impression would be that the guanidinium salt used to dissolve the gel would also denature most protein-DNA interactions.

Sorry for the delay-- its been a busy season for me. I was targeting a Protein at that bound to the DNA. The combined interaction was ireleavent to the targeted end goal-- I found this accomplished its target well, however, I also used protease inhibitor tablets from Thermo Fisher. In the end on paper it looked well, but due to a lack of mechanical hardware (and a misunderstanding) in my Lab, I was forced to end on a sorry note of ethanol pollution in my ending sample, thus leading to a loss of end data... If in doubt, reach out to Monarch, they are a GREAT company to work with, and have proven to offer reliable, positive results when you use their products as intended.
I personally only used Thermo Fisher tablets as they were already in my lab, and there was no need to use any other. (I talked with my rep on which one to use as they have several different types.)
I would encourage you to reach out to your local rep, and talk with them.
