I have modelled I Section with tendon as 3D solid. I have applied prestress in Initial step under predefined field and then applied pseudo static load to match the load deflection curve with experimental results.
The non-linear properties entered for Tendon and Concrete are same as that used in the experiment.
Currently the reinforcement is not modelled.
When I superimposed the Simulated model load deflection curve with the experimental result, i got this (shown in the image).
The model did no failed even when i applied 2 times the capacity as obtained in Experiment.
Can someone please tell what might be wrong with the model?

I really appreciate your detailed and self explanatory answer to my question. I would like to reply to your comments one by one
1) I have used CDM to define for concrete non-linear properties and have given input of stress-inelastic strain. This defines the post peak behavior of concrete .
For tendon I have given plastic properties, which defines again the post peak behavior of tendon.
2) model has been checked thoroughly. I have analyzed first for "Prestress only" which resulted in upward deflection and then with "prestress plus pseudo static loading" which worked fine. However mesh sensitivity analysis has not been done yet
3) I don't exactly get it how do I check the constitutive relation. I have entered exactly the results of materials obtained during experimental studies (concrete cylinder tested under uniaxial compression and tendon tested under UTM)
4) I was planning to model reinforcement, but I wanted to sure whether the model is working fine before modeling the reinforcement.
