i want to model a DCB unidirectional composite in abaqus under dynamic loading,as i am not working much with abaqus,i have some problems:
1)what is the difference in element type?
2) when we have dynamic load(velocity is 500 mm/min) should we use Dynamic,implicit in step module? what is the difference in result with compare to static,general?(then what should i do in abaqus?)
3)how do we make our cohesive layer?
4) if we want to model a dynamic fatigue problem,what should we do?

For your analysis, you should use a Dynamic explicit step.
For your cohesive layer you can use cohesive elements, you should implement them between your differents layers and add tie constraints between the cohesive element and the layers you want to be tied.
