I need to perform some assays of inhibition of Mitochondrial Complex II (Succinate Dehydrogenase) in vivo in mice using TTFA or Methyl-malonate, but I have no experience with these. Somebody has? Any information could help: dose, time, other inhibitors, etc.

3NP (50 mg/kg) i.p. injections every 12 h . 3NP in PBS (25 mg/ml) prepared fresh and adjusted to pH 7.4 with 10 M NaOH.

I see you have experience, so I would be very grateful if you answered two questions.
Could you say me the approx main survival of young adult mice with this treatment? Can I treat, for example, for two weeks? On the other hand, I observed that 3NP form Sigma Aldrich is soluble at 100 mg/ml but in alcohol. Can I inject 25% alcohol to mice? If not, what vendor do you recommend to me? What do you use?
