Might a BrUrd injection interfere with a later detection of RNA in mouse tissues?

We have planned to inject BrUrd into mice and, 3 hours later, to take tissue samples for histological examination and RT-PCR analysis. Might such a substance interfere in the detection of specific RNA sequences?
