Methods for improving purification yields of sticky proteins?

Does anyone know of a text book or handbook describing methods/strategies for improving purification yields of hydrophobic proteins, in particular, methods for improving the yield of protein obtained from a chromatography step?

Hi Kevin,

An ionic detergent in buffer may help to keep sticky protein in solution, like 1%-3% STAB depending on conditions.
