I am looking for a low-cost metal and fabrication process for making electrodes on glass surface. Can anyone suggest suitable material and corresponding fabrication process? The electrodes will be disposable and will be used for an electro-chemical process.
Can 304/316 grade stainless steel be used an electrode for this application? If yes, which fabrication process would be suitable?

If you are talking about low cost . NiFe alloy would be better. Hydrothermal is low cost method for Deposition but you will face some nonuniformity issues . Best deposition method will be I think Pulse laser deposition. you might get good epitaxial layers . for the working electrodes. But why you want glass substrate?

Thank you very mush for your suggestions. The reason behind the glass substrate is - the electrodes will be inside a microfluidic channel and the device would be made by bonding PDMS with glass.
